Description: *PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS* Reproduction Rare Thailand Kingdom 1000 Baht 1948 Description of the note this reproduction replicates: Thailand Bank of Thailand 1000 Baht ND (c.1948-53) Pick Unlisted Presentation Proof Thomas de la Rue printer models for Thailand are extremely rare, and this 1,000 Baht is fantastic in all aspects. Rama IX in military uniform is portrayed at front, and the engravings and artistic design elements seen on both sides are simply beautiful. The highest denomination in the postwar series was 100 Baht, so this note was ultimately not issued. Each side of this prototype is seen in this beautiful Thomas de la Rue presentation album. Mild foxing is seen due to age and humidity, but otherwise, each side appears to be in Uncirculated condition.
