Description: WW2 Polish Resistance Armband Home Army "WP" (Wojsko Polskie) red & white brassard and helmet band. This handmade reproduction armband is made from ecru and red cotton fabric sections sewn with off-white thread. It features a large "W" and "P" (Wojsko Polskie) letters and the Polish Eagle in black ink to the front. The armband is roughly 4.75" x 15.75" The top and bottom edges are double-sewn and machine sewn. The armband comes with a safety pin to attach to the upper arm. There will be rough edges and loose threads etc on the inside. The helmet band is made of red and white cotton. It goes around the helmet (not included in sale) and is fixed at the rear with a small safety pin at the rear. Overall, I believe you're getting a great period-looking Polish Home Army armband that's perfect for re-enacting events or display.
