Description: This is a new made wallet patterned after those wallets in general use during the American Civil War, or The War of Rebellion, or the War Between the States, or the War for the Union, or The Late Unpleasantness. These wallets came in many sizes. This wallet is 7 inches wide. It is large enough to hold current Federal currency without folding. The dollar bill is not included. The wallet has two pockets one 3 inches deep and one 2 1/2 inches deep and fold over ears for expanded carry of papers and letters. I call this a large size wallet. I also offer a medium wallet. The last three photos show the medium and large wallet together. SALE IS FOR LARGE WALLET ONLY. The wallet is made from vegetable tanned leather and hand sewn with linen thread. The wallet has no finish and will darken with use over time. This is a representative photo of the wallet you will receive.
