Description: this auction is for a refurbished, mcintosh mc4000m 6 channel sound quality amp ready to go for another 20 years. i let the pictures show the condition. if you need more pictures, let me know. this amp has had all the caps replaced that were leaking and those that were known to leak as well, bulbs replaced, power guard and i.c. chips replaced, fans replaced, switches cleaned and everything else torture tested. this amp is rated to do 1000 watts but car stereo and review benched this at over 2000 at 14.4 volts at 2-ohms. PICTURE ADDED OF SPECS. this is the biggest and baddest mcintosh car amp ever made. i sold my last one for 6000.00 on ebay. i am not in a hurry to sell this will stay up until i decide to keep it since they are so damn hard to find and this one in my opinion is in great shape. THE ONLY THING NOTICEABLE IS THAT THE RIGHT METER ONLY GOES AS FAR AS THE PICTURE OF IT SHOWS. IT WILL NOT GO ANY FURTHER WHICH IT WOULD NOT UNLESS YOU CRANKED IT WHICH NO-ONE I KNOW DOES. this monster weighs almost 40 pounds and when i pack it, it is usually 50 pounds. i am here to take care of my customer before,during,and after the sale. these are getting harder to find because people are hoarding them.
