Description: Vintage Kenner Star Wars Land Speeder 1978 with nice Original Box. This is the kind of item the box is probably worth more than the toy. The box is in decent shape compared to many I have seen. The land speeder looks pretty nice to me with the stickers intact too. Star Wars came out when I was 9 years old, and the perfect target age of these toys. I loved it, and saw it 7 times in the theater. Our family had (and still has) a warehoused sized building, and we were able to keep almost every toy of my childhood. My Dad was an antique toy collector, and told us to hold onto all this stuff and the packages. For every Christmas & birthday for the next few years, I received tons of Kenner Star Wars toys. Especially after the first movie came out. We had enough to fill a large closest or even a small room. My toys were lightly played with as I generally took care of things even as a kid, and shortly after the Empire Strikes Back came out in 1980, I felt too old to really play with them. Much of my collection has been stored in boxes and often in plastic bags since about 1981. A lot of it has not been on display, out in the sun or played with.
