Description: This Le Tallec Limoges porcelain teapot with warming stand and candle tray are a rare find. Per the "P" mark between the L and T on the bottom of the stand, it shows it was made in 1948. The "GM" under that are the initials of the artist that hand painted these pieces. The background is orange with pink, orange and purple flowers surrounded by gold scrolling. The top and bottom edge of the teapot, lid and warmer have a gold edge which is all in excellent condition. The top and bottom of the warmer, the top of the teapot, and the candle tray have a gold leaf design all the way around. There is one 1/4" spot on the upper gold edge of the warmer where the gold looks lighter in color (see picture 2 right side of the warmer upper edge). The teapot has a white handle with gold trim and the spout is an animal figure with gold trim. The warming stand has a small dish that is for a candle, which looks like it has never been used, to keep your tea warm. I see no chips, cracks or repairs. I have only wiped these items with a damp cloth. Teapot and stand measure approximately 4-3/8" W x 10" H. I am also listing an ewer of the same color and design, so please look at my other items.
