Description: For sale is a lot of 2 Red & White Platonite Milk glass, handled 4" open Sugar Bowls. They were manufactured in the 1930s by the Hazel Atlas Company who called the pattern Newport. Collectors often called the pattern Hairpin. The term Platonite refers to Hazel Atlas's milk glass products which are slightly opalescent at their rims. I tried to show that in the images. Their red and white design would make them perfect for themed displays at holidays and for vintage themed kitchens. These are vintage items and so are pre-owned and used. They may show some signs of cosmetic ware but are in good condition with no chips or cracks. There may be some slight imperfections caused during the manufacturing process.
