Description: This charming red tin features a smiling Santa with a huge beard on the lid. It was made by Mrs. Steven's candies, probably in the 1930s based on the style of writing on the rim. It measures 8.5" in diameter and about 2.25" high. It has a few minor scratches and dings but nothing major. There is an “H” embossed on the bottom which may be the maker of the tin itself. Mrs. Steven's candies was a beloved candy business in Chicago from the 1920s until the 1960s which was famous for its tin designs, which they sold for a $1 including candy!
