January through April 8th is slightly larger at about 20.5 x 6 cm (or about 8.1 x 2.4 inches). The exact size varies depending on the margin. These comics are old and tanned, but generally can be handled with ease. Some dates are more tanned than others. Margins may be narrow or even absent. Starting April 9th, the comic title is overlaid in the lower left corner. This resulted in the comic in this area being slightly routed. The top and bottom margin is very narrow or absent from this date on through the end of the year. We also made some notes of some date specific issues (we tried to avoid making too many notes, and instead preferred to go the generalized condition notes above). This should serve as a guide to the condition of the set, it is possible that we have not caught everything: INDIVIDUAL DATE CONDITION NOTES Date CONDITION 1-7 Left side of the comic is torn off and missing (about 8 mm at a maximum). 1-10 No left margin. Part of the border of the first panel is also missing. 1-31 Two moderate sized pieces missing from the left side. 2-4 Small piece missing from the left side of the comic. 2-22 Reverse right side is repaired with tape. 3-2 Bottom left corner of the comic is missing (tiny piece) 4-6 A small printing void on the far left side. 5-4 Left side repaired with transparent tissue on the front side (small piece). 5-8 Top left corner repaired with transparent tissue on the front side. 5-25 Printing on the right side is a little fainter. 6-18 A number of tiny binding holes on the right side...mostly in the margin or the edge of the comic. 6-22 Printing on the right side is a little fainter. 8-7 About 2 cm tear on the right side. 9-7 The printing quality is a little poor...not terrible, but a little poor. 10.2 About 1.2 cm tear on the right side. Also a tiny little bit of the right side torn off and missing (mostly just the border). 10-12 The right edge is a little thick and indented due to some repair with with tissue paper or glue (looks clear). Printing around the edges of some panels is a bit of a void (or didn't print...not sure how to explain). 10-21 No left margin (border gone as well). 11-7 About 8 mm tear on the right side. 11-23 A few tiny pieces missing from the right side of the comic. The reverse of the right side is also repaired with tape. 11-29 Right reverse side is repaired with a tissue paper that has made it thick and a embossed at the edge. 12-21 Two small tears on the right side. The largest is about 1 cm. 12-23 Right side is missing a small piece from the top right corner. It looks like the rest of the right side was also torn off, but it is now repaired with tape on the reverse (tear line visible). A small bit of the tear in not repaired.
