Red Raven Library, Nickel Pulp, No. 1, January 1905, RARE

Description: Offered here is a vintage classic Children's Nickel Magazine: "Red Raven Library; Stirring Tales of Old Buccaneer Days", "Captain Kidd's Sea Swoop or Carried Off By Pirates", Nickel Pulp, No. 1, January 1905, RARE, approx. 11" X 8", by An Old Salt. Issued monthly. Uncredited full color cover illustration. In good shape for it's age. This collection of 100's, literally, of 5 cent pulps came from the original family - purchased from a gentlemen whose great grandfather owned these originally. An large and unusual number of them have what looks like clipped left corners on the spine. Because they all look virtually the same I can not attribute it to deterioration of the pulp paper. How could it happen on the exact same corner of them?? This also has the date written at the top center and a couple of tiny chips and tears along the right edge, paper loss at the bottom right corner. Internal oxidation. WHERE are you gonna find another? In any condition let alone in decent condition!
