Description: This sale is for an RCA commercial VHF 2-way base radio station that has been moved to 2 meters. Exactly what frequencies it is on I can't say. The unit is 19 inch rack mount, all solid-state except for the 8072 final tube, which I believe is bad. It comes in multile sections, as noted below from the top down... RCA 3457790-501 Code C Final amplifier (I think this is 55 watts), includes RCA 3457715-502 ExciterRCA 3457557-502 Code E or F Power supplyRCA 3457493-501 Code E ReceiverRCA 3457943-510 Code A Control center with speakerRCA 3457985-501 Code A Meter panel I got those numbers from the unit. They are the only identification I could find and they have been no help to me in finding out any more info--I have nothing else. I don't know what RCA procut line this is from and I have no docs. The ham who owned this built a small 2-meter receiver preamp which is mounted at the very top with his call sign on it. There are snap-on covers for most of the modules. But I took the pix with the covers off. But the modules will come to you with their covers. I am willing to sell the whole thing including the rack but shipping it is not practical. Pickup in Pittsburgh, PA is free. Otherwise, I can sell all the 19" rackmount modules or just some of them and these would be shippable at your expense. This thing is not light weight. Some of the mdules are under 10 pounds while the exciter and receiver are maybe 20 pounds each. The power supply in particular is HEAVY. So please consider weight if you want any modules shipped.
