I sell more items from with this pattern in my store - see photos and see them in my store. French Reynaud company is famous its refine high-end porcelain for a century. Céralene is a specific type of dinnerware china made are made using the famous Limoges clay. It’s signified by a rooster with the name ‘Céralene’. Ambassador pattern was inspired by French Renaissance and was produced for a 10 year period, from 1986 - 1996. It features white bone china decorated with an intricately detailed shell and scroll wide gold encrusted band. Inlay, an extremely luxurious and prestigious hand-crafted decoration process inherited from previous generations. It starts with the engraving of the design, before it is covered with two layers of shiny and mat gold. Finally, the inlays are sandblasted, polished and burnished with agate stone and sanguine for an exceptional result. These are written on the back side every plate. They came from a local estate sale and are near an excellent condition. No chips cracks crazing staining. No wear off of gold pattern or gold. There are one-two light utensil marks surface scratches and fabric defect - see photos. In buying pre-owned plates you usually find minor scratches or other 'evidence' of the items previous use.
