RARE Wollensak-Rochester No. 4 Vitax Portrait Lens F3.8 No. 4203 USA SELLER

Description: I acquired this Wollensak No. 4 Vitax Portrait Lens 3.8 No 4203 with the full intention to explore plate photography processes, but never got started with it. When I got the lens, it was obvious that it hadn't been properly cared for in years. However, the aperture blades work, the knob and and lever on top twist and move fine. The paint has worn off much of it, the front and rear elements will need TLC or restoration. Please refer to the photos for this. The threading on the all the sections is fine and the lens screws together easily for the most part.
