Description: California Cleminson designed this wormy apple figure to be a ring holder. Protruding from a rotting red apple that is bursting at the seams is a hungry apple worm with a satisfied red smile. With body sections alternating between pale green and creamy white, he is dressed for dinner sporting a light blue polka dotted bib for messy dining and, of course, a top hat. Black dot eyes and a matching pale blue hat band complete the figure. Fun, funny and functional, these are all the hallmarks of a Cleminson piece. Size: Measures 3 1/8" tall by 2" in diameter. Provenance: Stamped with the green Cleminson Maker’s Mark, and the California Pottery 'C'.
