The history of the 1992 Dodge Viper is quite interesting. Nineteen ninety two was the first ever year for Dodge to release the Vipers. Back then, they were very expensive and were quite rare. There were some safety issues and Dodge purchased back as many of those original Vipers that they could. Very few of the original Vipers exist "in the wild" these days. Of course, this is a Diecast replica of the 1992 Viper. It comes from the smoke free and pet free home of a guy who was a proud "motorhead" per signs within his home. He had several Diecast cars and this is one of them. He kept his cars in his "den" on shelves and they were never removed from the box or played with. I did remove this one from the box for pictures.
