Not sure how or when this happened. they are attached but loose. Since all he does is sit, it is not very noticeable until you pick him up. The legs are attached by a plastic piece like the ones that attach price tags to garments. i never tried to fix it. If you are clever with sewing things, I am sure the legs could be tighten up. The listing price reflects this defect.I am the original Owner. He was always part of my bear displays, never played with. Always lived in my smoke free home.
