Description: Offered is a Rare vintage 1950 Advertising Postcard (PC dated from No in stamp box) featuring Airways Service, Inc - a Ventilation Cleaning Service - based in Louisville, Kentucky. Art for PC by Milt Youngren. As to Rarity, there are other PCs for various "Airways" services in other cities w/ Humorous Art done by Milt Youngren. This card has not surfaced or sold across the past dozen years. It is the cutest one ... with the Dalmation "Fire Dept Mascot". Clean ventilation systems reduces risk of Fire! PC from Teich's "C T Art-Colortone" Series. * PC "new" to extent it is New Old Stock, has not been used in any manner, and remains in Near Mint / Mint condition. I include NM here because the card has the slightest bit of age toning to its verso. This otherwise pristine postcard comes from the Curt Teich Archives. The card has been in our possession for approximately 15+ years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived images found their permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company's records, having served in that capacity since 1982.
