Description: RARE VINTAGE ROSEVILLE POTTERY 641-5 BUTTRESSED IXIA 1937 ART DECO FLOWER POTThe Roseville Pottery Company produced the Ixia line in 1937. Victorian gardeners associated the Ixia plant with happiness, and it is certainly reflected in this pattern. Roseville sales and production peaked a few years later. The stylized blossoms seem to be blowing in the wind on backgrounds of green, pink-green and yellow-brown.Here we have a 5 1/2 inch tall Ixia flower pot with tab handles on each side. The pink and green colors are subtle and strong. The flowers are embellished with a cream and yellow tones. A perfect piece that reminds anyone of spring.This pot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches to glaze, or repairs. All original.Authentic Roseville Pottery.
