Description: A rare vintage Firebird 606 linear tube amplifier. This is a very early model that has no manufacturer name, but has the same red cord and printed caution label on the back of the unit. The faceplate design and the meter type are also the type found on a Firebird amplifier. I do not have the knowledge or equipment to test this machine but it does power on, the indicator bulb and the meter light up. I removed the cover o log the amplifier and photographed the inner components, everything looks fairly clean, I did not notice any signs of physical damage. This item came from a massive lifetime estate collection of HAM and CB radio equipment spanning decades with items from around 1960 to the 2000’s. Due to the age of this equipment and the inability to test, I am selling this item and all radio equipment over 30 years old for parts or to be restored. I will not accept returns on any radio equipment over 30 years old. This item will be sent in a well padded box and insured to protect against any potential damage during shipping.
