Description: Rare Unknown Winterling Bavaria Lustre Germany Tea Set. This mother of pearl / leaf / gold gilt pattern not found in any reference catalog for Winterling Bavaria. It is very similar to products made by Hutschenreuther Bavaria in their Lustre / Luster Ware Gold Rim line. Set includes the tea pot with lid, 4 small cups with matching saucers, creamer and sugar bowl. All have a Mother of Pearl lustre ware rainbow finish and all have with lots of gold gilt. The tops have like a drip gold gilt. Centers are white base with a rainbow lustre finish. Dainty stems and leaves are on all. Bottoms of cups, saucers, tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl have a thin band of gold. All handles are gold finished. Condition:Teapot: Good. Gold shows wear at top of handle. Has a tiny chip in lid close to handle. Lid excellent Creamer: VG condition. Git at spout and handle shows wear. No chips or cracks. Cups: Overall good. All show wear to gold on handle. 2 have chips on rim Saucers: VG+. All have gold fading at edges. Sugar Bowl: In VG shape. Missing its lid.
