Rare, Undrilled 2006 Brunswick Radical Inferno Bowling Ball (Octane Coverstock)

Description: The Brunswick Radical Inferno was the first bowling ball to take advantage of Brunswick's new Urethane casting machine. The machine was part of a custom built "State-of-the-Art" room full of high tech equipment that incorporated enhanced control over processing parameters. The machine also included a sensor system that monitored temperatures, pressures, and flow rates at every important point in the casting process. The new Urethane casting machine enabled Brunswick to produce a new class of Reactive coverstock. It was appropriately named Octane coverstock and was the result of 3 years of R & D into both materials technology and Urethane processing parameters. The same meticulous screening of materials that produced the Activator coverstock family had then resulted in the enhanced Octane coverstock. With improved back end traction and a sharper breakpoint, the Octane coverstock ball became a perfect compliment to the Activator coverstock balls known for their early revving action. This now rare, hard-to-find Radical Inferno bowling ball is in the "Highly Angular" ball reaction class with a high tract. It may be hard finding another Brunswick Radical Inferno that has never been drilled nor thrown down a bowling lane like this uniquely collectible bowling ball. Item is not in the original box.
