Robert was born February 2, 1944 in Hollywood, CA, to William and Betty Irwin. Robert "Bob" Irwin had a personality as big as his stature. He was a man with many talents and interests. Bob was a firearm's expert and gunsmith, investor, fencing instructor and best of all, Pop Warner Coach. He was also a businessman owning two different gun stores and ranges in Las Vegas for many years. His interests and pursuits included assisting directors to provide safe movie props and gun scenes for all types of firearms. He also served as a firearms expert consultant for several major motion pictures. As an expert witness, Bob testified in numerous firearms-related court cases. As a Legal Enforcement Officer (Bailiff) he rode with Metro Police in Las Vegas and he also served as a part time Bailiff in Boulder City, Nevada. Bob was politically interested in protecting the Second Amendment. Many knew Bob from his "Fired Up" radio and podcast shows. There he discussed firearms, self-defense and current related events.
