Description: This wonderful syrup pitcher is in very good condition with no chips or hairlines. It is a very rare piece and has a patent date on the bottom of it, Jan 23, 1873 "Civil War Period". It was made by the Edwin Bennett Pottery in Baltimore, MD. It is 6 1/4 inches tall and has a diameter of about 3 1/2 inches. It really is a wonderful old piece of ironstone.
