Roman Bible. Latin manuscript fragment on parchment. 36 lines each side. Font: Gothica Rotunda. Size : 26, 5 x 7 cm. Produced in France or England, during the first half of the 12th century. Fragment of a Bible manuscript from the High Middle Ages in an extremely clean Gothic rotunda, with texts from the Acts of the Apostles and a passage about the conversion of the Apostle Paul. A sheet with some abrasion and worming brown spots and minor edge damage. (see photos for full condition). Origin: 1984 Maggs Brothers. The Marvin L. Colker Collection, London.
