Description: This is a rare, vintage RCA Victor early portable B&W TV. From internet sources and the label it is RCA Chassis #KCS157A and Model AL006W, named the "Jaunty" by RCA. This would make a great addition to your collection or a Radio / TV museum. The unit powers on and and the controls appear to operate as expected. No TV stations on VHF or UHF were able to be tuned in using internal or external antennas to it is being sold as "Parts / Repair." The metal cabinet is clean and has some scratches and mars consistent with age and use. The telescoping antenna is intact and operates, has a slight bend when extended. The TV has a US standard VHF turret & UHF dial tuner, built-in telescopic & UHF antenna, ext. antenna in, speaker jack, along with contrast and Vert/Horz Hold controls. The TV Service Manual is available for purchase from other sellers on eBay. I'm not sure of the date of manufacture, but would estimate between 1957 and 1968.
