Description: On offer is an extremely rare retired Rae Dunn, Magenta, Boutique French Sketch vase. The dimpled vase has an inscription around the circumference of the base which reads; 'the sky was clear and quiet and my thoughts floated loud as bees among the row of perfect trees'. The vase stands 9.63 inches in height, 5.77 inches in width, and 3.79 inches in depth. Overall condition of the vase is very good, however there is a shell chip under the base rim which is only slightly visible on the outer side of the vase. This is clearly visible in the images. The chip can be very easily and inexpensively restored to a professional standard with Milliput epoxy putty, and a little touch of clear nail lacquer. One of these vases sold in an Ebay auction format June 2023 after receiving 20 bids for $1525.00. So this vase is priced very fairly with consideration to the under rim chip.
