We got it from an estate on the east coast here in florida ..The frame which is period but i do not know if it is original ..is in good condition with one spot of gesso missing and where it has been repainted to blend in with the rest of the frame .. its on the top right please look at pics it really is not that noticeable and could be fixed very easy..The matting is a little faded and has couple spots they are pictured but there again they really do not take anything away from the true beauty of this work. The print itself with the bows colored in differently by the artist is in very very good condition the color of the paper is correct to the artists spec and it is on board as we know the artist did with some of these prints... please email any questions but please know this is not a reproduction like most in the USA are selling ..If you wish to find out more about this and many many more Franz Stuck art you are going to have to look him up on Ebay Germany where there is 11 or so pages of his works ... complete with valid pricing on Original art work.
