Description: Here's a rare Vintage J Peterman dress I've not been able to identify (yet). Sumptuous topaz blue rayon/silk velvet sheath and cuffs, 100% silk chiffon sleeves, snap cuffs, extras attached, satin lined, vee neck, knee length. A flawless holiday alternative. New Without Tag. Circa 1997. Color: Shimmering Topaz and Black Chiffon. Dry Cleaned. Marked a Size 2 (and somewhat oversized, in my opinion), it measures: Bust 34-36, Waist to 28, Hips 34-36, Sleeve Length from Shoulder 24, Total Length from Shoulder 37, Hem Sweep is 52. Bagged Shipping Weight in 1 pound. A note regarding vintage clothing: it is rarely perfect. It has history, was, most likely, lovingly worn and cared for and endured far more years than most of us - in most cases 70 to 100 plus years.
