Description: RARE Noritake Chocolate Pot Lusterware | Early 1920's Vintage Chocolatière. Noritake Chocolate Pot Lusterware | Early 1920's Vintage Chocolatière | Rare Blue Band Floral Pattern This is a beautiful early 1920's Noritake Chocolate Pot featuring the famous lusterware design.Lusterware was a technique used in the early 1900's that involved using a vibrant glaze and then overing it in a thin metallic film. Essentially, this then gives the china an iridescent sort of glow. This chocolate pot gives off a rainbow hose upon the pearly white china. This pattern is rare and I, personally, have not been able to find it elsewhere. DETAILS:-the chocolatier stands about 8 inches high-it has a lusterware glaze-the bottom marking first came into play in 1918-the pot is in excellent vintage condition and has no chips or cracks Note: This is a vintage shop so most of the items are pre-loved. The photos are of the actual item you will receive. Feel free to message me with any questions
