Here is a very rare, 1920's miniature souvenir metal building depicting the "French Worsted" knitting mill complex, Woonsocket, RI. manufactured by The Robbins CO., Attleboro, MA. This scarce item has the distinction of being the ONLY Rhode Island miniature metal building that was ever produced, AND The only miniature building that "The Robbins Co." Attleboro MA has ever manufactured! It was also noted by the collector society that this highly detailed piece depicts "painstaking details" in this, the entire French Worsted complex of seven buildings, and not just the common single building, adding to its "III in rarity" rating in THE top miniature collectors book "Model Miniatures" by David Weingarten. This miniature measures 5" X 7" and stands 2.5" tall. It is in exceptional condition with light wear, as shown in the detailed photos provided. The last photograph shows another later reproduction model made in bronze that was released in the 1950's-60's, which this item clearly is NOT. Buy with confidence.
