Description: Rare Marvel Postage Stamp Album - 225+ Stamps From 1860's to Early 1900's - NICE!!! Labor Day Sale - Free US Shipping!!! Here is a Very Old Stamp Album that was Likely Manufactured in the 19 Teens or 1920's. No date is given for the book's pressing, and while the book may have been pressed a little earlier, the Stamps featured seem to point to a printing date of the teens or 20's. The Marvel Stamp Albums were pressed in the UK so that this Book was likely started in England and was later carried with the owner to the USA. The mounting of the Stamps were fairly well done and we feel that the stamps were remounted sometime in the 40's or 50's. We feel this is true simply because the mounting slips that appear on the stamps are of the type that would have been manufactured in the 40's & 50's. It's a good thing this was done during that time simply because the earlier types of hinging slips are very difficult to remove after being attached for 50 or more years. The stamp hing slips that are now on the Stamps, while still are not as good as later types, are still far better than what would would have likely been used originally. All hinging could be cleanly removed if so desired when using the correct solution and many likely could be cleanly removed without solution. With this said, if the new owner plans to remove the old hinging slips, then we do recommend using a solution to better preserve the stamps. For the Purpose of full filling Ebay Grading Request, we Grade the Book itself at Good(+) to possibly Very Good Condition and this does not take into account the Grade of each Stamp Inside and this Grade is only for the Book itself.
