Hvrminn was an OG in the US made to measure tailoring game and was featured in GQ, esquire, and the other menswear magazines. Was all over Tumblr back in the day for their edgy 20s style tailoring with a modern fit and twist. Hvrminn opened up a retail location in Manhattan with ready to wear and made to measure. This was purchased from that location. I think it was between 1000-1200 but I can’t remember exactly how much it cost. Unfortunately, he closed down shop in in 2023 but was always ahead of the fashion curve with military inspired pieces, frayed light wash denim, and other pieces that are now popular but not so much when he did it. What’s not to like about this coat? It has all of the bells and whistles a coat needs. This coat infuses many styles from military with the middle chest pockets, gusseted bellowed lower pockets, and a belt. Double breasted and button closure in the back. It’s essentially a wool pea coat trench hybrid, it’s incredible.
