Rare GRIMES Aluminum Recurve Hunting Bow Right or Left Handed 1950s EXTRA LIMBS

Description: What we have here is a Very Rare GRIMES Bow made by Grimes Archery Company of Pontiac Michigan Aluminum Recurve Hunting Bow What’s even more rare is it comes with EXTRA LIMBS! The extra limbs are a heavier/wider pair. 59-1/2” long tip to tip The width of the limbs that are on the bow is 1-1/8” (near the handle) The other pair are 1-7/16” wide It looks like the bow would remain 59-1/2” with the extra pair. I also see the number 55 written on tape that is attached to the ‘big’ set of limbs, I assume that means 55 pound draw weight. Right or Left Handed / Ambidextrous I am also including the old school felt lined sleeve to hold your bow. No string is included. From the RFD 7 (Rural Farm Delivery) on the label I’m pretty confident this was made in the 1950s. I don’t know if people buy this to use or just to display but it seems to be in Very Good condition. I did try to remove the limbs for shipping but wasn’t able to, I didn’t use too much pressure not wanting to break the head off. Shipped Quickly!
