Description: Felix - The post-mouse device for IBM PC - NEW and FACTORY-SEALED by Lightgate (1987) This is a very rare vintage computing collectible that is "new in box." Felix was meant to be a post-mouse input device developed by Lightgate in Oakland, CA in 1987. From the Computer History Museum: "Per the booklet that came with the object, it is for use with a Macintosh as an alternative to a mouse. The object has two modes of operation: normal and precision. Normal mode is suited for most operations, such as word processing or choosing menu items. Precision mode is suited for working at the pixel level like in CAD applications or editing of bit-mapped graphics. There is an attached cable with a DB9 male connector." This item is the IBM PC Version that plugs into the RS232 serial port for IBM PCs and compatibles. This item is Brand New and Factory Sealed in original plastic. There are a few small perforations in the plastic wrap. Please refer to pictures.
