Remastered and presented here. Remember, this is remastered from material right around 100 years old, so there is going to be that old record hiss, no way around it. Ed ANdrews has a unique warble to his voice, Kid Brown only has one song, but that calarinet accompaniment! Emery Glen plays 12-string and sings, Sammy Brown's "Jockey Blues" comedy bit beginning with a piano intro of the "off to the races" narrating a horse race...brilliant! this is just good hard to find stuff a bunch of collectors offered for this compilation. Johnnie Head not only sings, he kazoos as well. Fiddle and guitar on T.C. Johnson, Johnson Nelson and "Porkchop" sing two medicine show songs.
