Description: A Rare Superb Unique COALPORT 'JEWELLED' PALE-BLUE AND IVORY GROUND CIRCULAR BOX AND COVER Late 19th/early 20th century, printed green mark, The domed cover with a gilt 'jewelled' lozenge reserved on pale-blue with central diamond-shaped 'ruby' within a gilt bezel set with further 'ruby' diadems and pink and pearl 'jewels',Coralsl,Emeralds issuing pendant bell-flowers and foliate scroll work on the shaped ivory ground, the interior with powdered gold on a salmon-pink ground 4¼in. Light blue ground with a cross design in heavy Gilt with enamels encrusted Jewels in a Rococo style with a design reminiscent of Russian Faberge ones) . With a faceted Ruby in the middle of the Cross surrounded by Pearls, with simil other stones ,Emeralds, Corals,Turquoise with the lid and base inside in Bright Powdered Pink.
