Description: For sale is a RARE Black Minolta Hi-Matic 7S w/Rokkor 45mm f1.8 Lens Rangefinder Camera that has been FILM TESTED with fresh film in our lab! This camera is an incredible example of the extremely rare Black paint variant of the Hi-Matic 7s. The camera did not show any light leaks in our testing, however, a fresh set of seals would be a nice addition to the camera as it is in absolutely spectacular condition, see photos. The rangefinder patch is visable, but as is normal with these bodies it is a good bit fainter than say a Leica. That said, the rendering of this lens is drop dead gorgeous! This camera is also great as it can be shot mechanically without any battery with full control of the aperture and shutter speed so it will continue to live on and be viable to shoot even if the battery dies! A quick search online will show you just how rare these are to come by in Black paint and even rarer in this great of a condition and with a working light meter.
