Description: This is a wonderful and rare Tiffany Style Art Glass Jack in the Pulpit vase. It is an iridescent cobalt blue with shimmering stripes in gold, purples, silver, and aqua. It is signed by the artist Eruin and is dated to 1956. Also visible on the bottom. it measures 11.5 inches tall by 7 inches wide and approximately 4 inches in depth. Tiffany invented this style. This is a fine later rendition of it and flawless in its design and overall proportions. The vibrant colors are magnificent. The period it emulates is Art Nouveau. It is solid though delicate to the eye. It weighs just under two pounds. It is hand blown and very time consuming in its fabrication. The artist demonstrates an extraordinary level of craftsmanship and overall design sense. This is simply a beautiful vase. Elegant, sculptural, and eye catching. Offered from our collection of fine blown glass for the first time. A rare and great find.
