Description: Rare Antique Teco Pottery Matte Brown Four-Buttress Vase, shape #434. Designed by Fernand Moreau, this vase is an unusual Prairie style having Louis Sullivan influence in the design and is covered in a fine organic Teco matte brown glaze. Signed once on the inside of one leg, lightly glazed over. The large vase measures 11 1/4" tall, 5 1/2" wide. In excellent condition with no chips, damage, or restorations. Questions welcome.
