Presenting a Rare Antique Historic Ornate Masonic Knights Templar Two-tier Jewel from the landmark St. Louis Commandery, founded in 1847. At center on a nicely textured Malta Cross is a Skull and Crossed Bones surrounded by the motto IN HOC SIGNO VINCES. A Crown is on top and Crossed Swords are at sides. Top-tier is a modest Medieval Sword. We are not experts in metals, but another rare factor is that this gem might possibly be made of aluminum, which was used only sparingly for Masonic jewelry. It is in very good vintage condition with only some normal expected minor wear. Measures approximately 2 inches long.
