Rare Antique R. Hollings & Co. Boston Piano Floor Oil Lamp Circa Late 1800's

Description: This is a very beautiful Antique R, Hollings & Co. Boston Piano Floor Lamp Circa Late 1800s This was originally a Kerosene Lamp and has been properly wired to function as an electric lamp. The lamp is made of solid brass that has been highly polished, and is accompanied by a Deep Green & White Milk Glass ribbed patterned glass shade. The Lamp has adjustable height and measures 61" inches tall and can be lengthened at least another 2 feetThe shade measures 14 inches in diameter. The Lamp is in excellent condition for its age with 2 minor flaws. There is a small piece of glass that is missing from the shade that is completely hidden once the shade is seated in the frame hiding it completely. (Please refer to photos to see this clearly). There is a 1 inch dent on the lower center round intricate brass piece. (Again refer to photos) This is also slight to the eye, and hidden from sight when lamp is placed . I mention these areas as I point out all I can for you due to its age, and my deliberate intent to give you as much information as I can in the description, however neither of these two areas take anything away from the beauty of this lamp. The lamp has been updated and rewired for today's usage, and in order to ship this item I must disassemble the lamp before packaging it properly and securely.
