Description: Description: I bought a pair of fantastic tiles in tiger oak frames at auction in Maryland....unfortunately, this one is a bit formal for my beach house in Florida. Would have have been amazing in my Victorian house in NJ. This is a Hamilton tile is lovely and depicts a young girl with flowers on her head....I assume a nymph. The color of the tile is beige. It is very crazed, but that makes sense given the company was in business from 1883 to 1901. The frame is equally beautiful....done is a tiger or quarter sawn oak that is exquisitely mortared on the corners to make a professional, tight corner. Looking at the hardware, I'd say the frame is modern.....not contemporary to the tile. The tile is 6” x 6”. The frame is 11.75” x 11.75”. Condition: . The tile has crazing. The oak frame is in outstanding condition. Please review all photos as it is part of the overall description. I apologize ahead of time for the cost of shipping. I only ship USPS Priority insured.
