Description: An important 19th Century French Anatomical Model of a Larynx by the world renowned maker Dr. Auzoux. A highly detailed model made of Papier Mache/gesso and very finely constructed showing hand paintedblood vessels/veins etc. and labeled with tiny numbers to denote the various parts. The Larynx opens up to reveal the interior which is also depicted in the finest detail. On the front near the base of the Larynx are hand written makers details with the name "Dr. Auzoux" and "1880"?The wording has faded over time but is still partially visible (please see photographs). The overall condition is good for its age with wear/minor losses commensurate with use and the passage of time.
