It was a short-lived logo change This one is 3 inches in diameter, has a silver and blue Eagle on red background with peel-n-stick backing. Because the radical change was not well received, it was infamously dubbed the "flying pig" by employees. I started in 1981, just before they rolled this ugly thing out.... Some said it looked a flying pig when it was turned upside down, I've included a picture of it turned upside-down so you can judge for yourself. This logo was used from 1982 to about 1990, making this a scarce piece of P&W history. This is new old stock I found while cleaning out my dad’s P&W tool box.
