Description: Amazing vintage piece. Should be an authentic 70s era Nebraska Cornhuskers helmet. I do not know its original lore, so I cannot confirm if it was ever game worn, but all elements on it appear to be authentic from the 70s. Face mask looks like it got painted over red you can see the original gray peeking out in spots. Helmet is heavily scuffed. Could be from bad storage or game wear. Nebraska N’s on each side are coming up in spots, but are on there firm outside of the edges. Great piece! Amazing look and a little bit of history. Open to fair offers or bid!
