The curved lid has a tapered Lucite knob. The overall effect is very striking, as it looks like the round bucket is really hanging “magically” in mid-air within the larger cube. This eye-popping effect is magnified once those ice cubes are in there! This piece is in beautiful vintage condition, but does have some age-appropriate wear here and there, like some scratches on the inside of the cylindrical bucket as well as on the lid. There’s also a small chip on the lid. I’ve tried to capture these imperfections as best as I could in the photos given the reflective nature of the Lucite. But this ice bucket is a stunner- and weighs 3 pounds 3.7 ounces, is 11 3/8” tall with the lid on and 8 5/8” high with no lid. The cube measures 7 ¾” across by 7 ¾” across by 8 3/8” high. The cylinder has a 5 ½” diameter at the mouth and is 7” deep. The lid has a 5 7/8” diameter.
