Description: RARE 1959 D Jefferson Nickel Rev. Error Double Staple Coin - Overlapping Staples. Recently discovered in a collection that was forgotten for 50+ years in a foreclosed houses cabinet. Never seen anything like this before and not sure if many like it even exist. Once in a lifetime opportunity to add to your collection. Two staples weave through the lettering on the bottom of the reverse of the nickel and wraps around to the side where its partly broke off. Similar specimen exist from the Denver mint ‘59 but none on the market with two staples that additionally are overlapping.
