**RARE** 1925 MLB National League Golden Jubilee Season Ticket Pass + Wallet

Description: Offered is a VERY RARE 1925 National League Golden Jubilee Season Pass Issued to Chicago Mayor William Dever. Issued by National League president John Heydler on the occasion of Major League Baseball's 50th birthday, this elegant piece made the turnstiles at Ebbets Field, the Polo Grounds, Forbes Field and more spin for free eight decades ago. Imprinted on the interior of the wallet (3" x 5.5") is "11, Hon. William. E. Dever & Party" Mr. Dever was the Mayor of Chicago from 1923-27. Opposite sits a circular golden medallion measuring 1.25" in diameter and emblazoned with "1876, National League Golden Jubilee, 1925" in a baseball motif. The outside of the wallet exhibits some expected wear from handling after ~100 years but the insides, and the medallion itself, both remain in a NRMT state and leave this RARE admission pass in superb condition for display. Obtained from the estate of Rose Newman who was Mayor Dever's secretary.
