The third book within is titled U.S. Zouave Cadets, Governor's Guard Organization, Drill and Uniforms same as Zouaves & Chasseurs D'Vincennes of the French Army. The fourth book within is titled General Regulation of the First Regt. Light Infantry (U.S. Zouave Cadets) of the Illinois State Troops. And the fifth book within is titled By-Laws of the First Regt. Light Infantry of the Illinois State Troops. The book is embossed leather bound with gold page edges and titles. It has a presentation to "COMPANY FIRST REGIMENT LIGHT INFANTRY, (U.S. ZOUAVE CADETS,) ..... on the back cover. It is identified to James Liner, in two places.
