This exceedingly Rare note is from the '35A, XB, YB, and this the ZB double zero serial number start experimental paper test. The XB was the control with 75% linen and 25% cotton, the YB was 50% linen and 50% cotton cuttings and the ZB was 50% linen and 50% cotton raw. Researcher Peter Huntoon had an excellent article in the Bank Note Reporter March 2016 Vol.65 No.3 page 16 all about this little known test which was a success after the red R and S disaster where the notes were pulled from circulation by the public which skewed the test results. In this stealthy test most all the notes were turned in as found by the banks to the Federal Reserve for analysis, thus very few exist. This is the second of three consecutive graded notes.
